Good to see you out there. It was a nice day on the water. I saw a lot of fish making beds, I hope they don't lower the water too much more,it might affect this years spawn, maybe. I'm hoping this year is a good one. Seems like it's starting ok.

Nice to see you out there Robert!
Sundays was fun for me, I had a banner morning on the jig. I didn’t pick up the neko all day Sunday believe it or not.
This is from the day before, Saturday morning:

I’ve been seeing lots of fry. Caught several fish over 18”and a 211/2 that should have gone over 7lbs but looked spawned out. Not much on top but plenty on the bottom.
Don’t let the cat out of the bag about launching a boat.

Hmmmmm....I was always told water can't go from San V to El Cap! Interesting!

It can’t. DFW and PUD confirmed that at the recent Friends of the San Diego Lakes seminar with Matt Lucero and San Diego Bass Fishing Podcasts interview with Niki from the PUD (can add link if interested).
I’m guessing they meant they will stop draw down from Cap and draw from San V, then draw from Cap again once they’re finished with San V. Hoping I’m wrong about that.

I meant draw water from San V, not to El Cap. Then start taking water from Cap again.
