Hey all!
It has been a little bit since I posted here. I headed out to Hodges for my second trip of the year. The lake looks beautiful (although still low) and there are now nice patches of tules coming in. I think if the lake level stays this way in a few years we will have some nice shoreline cover once again. The lake was in the mid 60s with the fish that I found mostly coming from 4' or less. I got one on a crank (another came off) a few on a jig (3 over 3lbs with a 4.26 a couple of others came off) and one on a Neko. I definitely isn't the lake of old, but it was still fun to get out there. Didn't see as many Crappie guys out there this time as I am sure they have moved on to other lakes now. Talked to some people who got fish on spinnerbaits up close in the morning and then worms later. I will let you know if I hear anything else. Cheers all! See you on the water!

Thanks for sharing another fun bass
fishing videos with all of us. It’s always entertaining, especially for me who has
not been on the water much lately and
needs to get back out there.
Tight line always Chris

Sitting here questioning everything I thought I knew. Today was my second trip in a row without even a bite. Glad you got some. And thanks for sharing.

It was definitely not an easy bite, but remember, it's Hodges. Throw the baits basically on shore. That worked best for me. Usually does there.
