Mission Beach 3/5

Post by Nelson 1 »

Been awhile since I posted anything. Fish the morning for 3 hours. Caught 11 Perch. Nothing bigger than 10 inches. Was digging in my garden yesterday looking for a night crawlers to try. Did not find any . But I did find a grub. Put it in a ziplock baggie and took it with met. Got one on that grub.

I believe they are June Bug larive. Tuff skins. I put it on a high low rig. Dried sand worms on the bottom hook. Grub on the top hook. It took less than a minute and fish on.

No snails for me. Ever try to get that slime off your fingers ,takes forever. Don't need that all over my fishing reels..

I was thinking of you and your snails while picking up more mussels the other day. Asian market had a bunch of snail meat but I talked myself out of it on account of already having a giant bag of frozen mussels in my hand and not needing to jam any more bait into our freezer

If anyone complains about them, just say they are the escargot for dinner. ;) ….
