Been a few months getting out since past year end. Saw a couple of good size holes south of the pier during a minus tide a few weeks back so thought I'd check it out. Difficult to tell as incoming tide was close to 4' at 6:30 this morning. With nice conditions tossed LC's for awhile always hoping for a halibut strike but better odds to maybe get a slab perch or two. Not to be today. Switched over to various grubs & mussel meat. Perch hits, mostly just tippity taps, not committing to taking the baits. Picked up one 10" bsp on the only hard hit of the session so avoided the dreaded skunk.

Congrats on avoiding the skunk. I have walked the stretch between the roller coaster and PB pier a few times in the last week and agree, there are some impressive potholes out there.
