I was inspired today to spend a few hours this morning down at the SD River thanks to fellow SDFish member @tomnilll.I have not been fishing much at all and needed a nice kick in the rear which @tomnilll has provided with some recent posts and nice bass he has landed. Not much to say, but landed 2 bass out of 3 bites as the water is still pretty darn muddy. Still very glad to be out fishing and tossing lines again....Yay! It's funny as the river is kryptonite to @Mcfish ....ha ha
Thanks @tomnilll and tight lines. :-)

Fishing a small body of water can be tough, but very rewarding also as you know.
That’s why we go back to accept the challenge again.
Tight lines :-)

Great job always curious whether you ever get skunked?
Can you explain your set up on the second picture? Is it glass beads? I understand the concept but yours looks a little different than what I’m used to seeing.
Again, great job

I been over to Murray for an hour to two hours in the mornings about 6 times since the beginning of February and only throwing swimbaits
(many big ones)from shore only. I have been skunked all those times. The beads are on a Tokyo rig that I rig up myself. I use different size weights and usually black or red beads to make a little sound while I am flipping it into cover. @Dfishin hit it one the head. Vito, many guys used beads with brass weights years ago on Carolina rigs for the same purpose to make a little clicking sound.

Probably the most stylish and accomplished angler on the river.
