Launch Ramp etiquette

I think we can all agree to this and make launching easier.
Turn off headlights while on ramp. Headlights in next vehicle rear view mirrors is blinding.
Float tubes and Kayak users. Prepare your boat in parking lot and be ready as possible when you get to ramp. And please don't cut in front of a person in line waiting to launch.


If anyone has something to add please do.

As a float tuber that launches from the shore, I did not realize that boat ramps were a popular venue for fights. https://www.google.com/search?q=boat+ra ... e&ie=UTF-8

Stand your ground. An armed society is a polite society. Maybe not: . Many more boat ramp shootings besides this are on the Internet. Great outdoors is apparently safer when people are not around.

I guess some people get real cranky when they get skunked. Or maybe just cranky regardless.

I get a kick out of having trailers wait for me to unload my float tube
