I fish it quite a bit from spring-summer. They rent little bass boats with foot pedal trolling motors which is cool. Jerkbaits and deep diving crankbaits on the rock piles. Frogs and flipping in the tules. Last few seasons were slower then years past

Wohlford is loaded with bass. Every rockpile has dozens hanging out on them.

Ranger mentioned they did a recent CADFW survey there and said they found lots of smaller fish. Were you a part of that?

Unfortunately not. Just shore fishing and rental boats

So would Lake Jennings and Lake Poway.
I remember decades ago Poway allowed float tubes, but not too many guys fished there out of them back then.

Wonder if the smaller fish have crowded out the big ones and it needs a cull? When you say smaller fish, what are we talking about? 1 pounders, 2s?
