.Launched at 7am and made it back at around noon or so, and got about 20 spotties. I was expecting to have a lot of success on my 2 lighter setups, but my M and MH setups ended up getting 90% of the action. The hot bait of the day was a tie between a black and gold stupid tube that my buddy BigMoneyJonah pours, and a 12-15 ft deep diving brown crankbait. I brought out the deep diver to test and see how it fishes on my MH casting setup. Within 2-3 casts I got my first fish on it and it cleaned up in the 10 ft deep grass flats.
I felt like there was a good number of fish in the 12-14” range, and the best was a healthy 15”. It was a great first day down there, and I look forward to getting down there more often!
