With hardly any new posts lately, I decided to try to stir up things up a little.
I normally would not do this, but just felt that hopefully this post may inspire some
of you to PLEASE share some of your fun catches in 2025.

While none of my bass broke the 10lb range(what's new?),
I did catch 3 in the 7lb range and some 6's and 5's. Here is just a pic of some of them.

Hope to see some of your fun catches and
Best Wishes and Tight lines to Everyone on SDFish in 2026!
Vinny

Looks like the same fish over and over to me, just different lighting and backgrounds. I see Vinny even changed his shirt for some of the pics.

Not the same fish…. I could’ve made bigger pictures of each one so you could see things better but that would be a crazy waste of space. :-)

I went through and picked out some of my favorites from the year. This was my second year back in the game after years out, and at times it felt a little foolish trying to do a bit of everything. It felt a bit like whack-a-mole trying to keep up with the surf, the lagoons, and freshwater but the pics made it look like I did a decent job doing a bit of everything. Overall it was a pretty good year! I’m looking forward to more freshwater outings on my new to me float tube, but we’ll see if I can successfully fish some freshwater that isn’t Lake Barrett this year haha. It sure is nice to have Barrett in the back pocket to make me feel like I know at least little bit of what I’m doing with largemouth!

Only 5 I got this year was an early season mama out of shallow water in a mountain lake. She ate an 8 inch senko though!

It's hard to compete with the famed Mr.Vinnybass...but here are a few of my favorites from 2025! My big fish for the year was an 8.2, I'll see if I can improve on that this year! Vinny says that's impossible with all the finesse stuff I throw!

See…. I told you that using bigger baits are
better as you went from a 2 inch Roboworm to
a 4 inch Roboworm and you caught your
biggest bass last year. Just imagine the possibilities by going to a six or 8 inch worm this year. :-)

I might go to a 5"...but I'll bite the head off it!

Probably won't find many of them in Lake Murray

I drive by your stomping grounds multiple times a week on the way out to fish the surf. I used to fish Murray more often but only from the perimeter, never in the water itself. If I do, you'll see me casting from the shore near the ball fields.

Vinny mostly catches spot fin croakers out of Murray...a few yellowfin!
