Mission Beach - Year End Finale
After taking a month off from the sand, met up with @Jusbigguns this AM for a year ender. Never seen the surf so low & mellow as this morning, no swell whatsoever. Decent enough perch bite right off but shut down all together after 8 am. Outgoing tide was receding very fast. Couple of 8 inchers & a smaller walleye. Those walleyes hit hard for their size. No slabs today but word is a good number of 12"+ ones have consistently been taken, both on baits and LC's.

Thanks for the report! I've been on the fence about heading out tomorrow morning for just a bit... high morning tide but looks like no swells whatsoever. Maybe I'll give it a go after all.

Yeah, it's likely a wrap for me until the Spring. Taking a break over the winter, not much interest in fishing for just perchies.Midnightpass wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 3:15 pm Good to hear from you..lI missed your reports.. Sounds like a great way to end the year…
