Mission Beach 12/18

First time out in the surf in about four years and it was productive one. Fished from 7 to 9am, conditions were calm. Some salad in the water but stuck it out with the Carolina rig. Was able to get four good ones all about 9 inches and a baby halibut. A ton of bites and all in all,

Nice way to make a comeback! I still have yet to catch a halibut in the surf, but this post is my way of putting that out there into the universe...

Yeah I've been trying to pick some up but they are outta stock everywhere

I’ve used them and caught 9 perch one cast after another no halibut’s.
You could try Dana bait and tackle I think that’s where I got them, because they’re Z-Man they last forever, caught my perch on one bait.
