Missed three weeks of top water fun as I was working in Italy. Got some at Otay last week and today at Miramar had some more topwater action. Absolutely a gorgeous day with only one other boat on the water.

Cool pics OM!

Have you ever tried surface lures for LMB? they're pretty fun.

Nice job out there Michael. Always can visualize you holding a bass with a topwater bait
hooked to it year-round and always better to see it on a post with great pics as always!
Tight lines always :-)

Yeah, but someone's gotta do it, right?
Fourteenth trip to Italy, month per, can't get enough I guess.

My first trip to Italy netted me an image that won a Int'l photo competition!
This one, titled 'Ghost of Florence', took 'Best of Show, color, S.D. Museum of Photographic Art, 1992'
and ran in full color, cover of S.D. Reader.

Fish otay today. Noon till 4:45 PM. Started out calm and after about an hour got white caps balance of the day in Harvey’s. 61° but with the wind, it felt like 50°Threw the lipless, underspin, super spook for Nada. Went to Old Faithful, gunFish and got four blowups and landed three.

Very nice Michael!
To think you can catch bass on top year round is pretty amazing and I have to go down
to 30-35' of water to catch my bass the other day. Tight lines always buddy. :-)
