You guys need to shake off the old “ I hate the Dodgers” and cheer on a California team…

I usually do root for any California team in a championship, but there's a few players on the current Dodgers roster that I can't stand.

Who would that be?… Most of the players are pretty likable guys.. Most people that don’t like the Dodgers, don’t like the organization, not so much the players.. But we all have our likes and dislikes, for various reason… Enjoy the baseball anyway, whoever you root for..

I dont care for Kike, Pages and Will Smith. The rest of the team are good dudes that I could root for.

Funny thing about Like, he is the 9th best hitter on the Dodgers but his jersey is the 15th best selling jersey in all of baseball. That's all 30 teams included.

LOL @ Will calling a career .245 hitter ''irrelevant.'
Profar was so irrelevant, San Diego didn't even re-sign him.
Kike likes annoying the piss outta people with his less than serious attitude on the field, and the funny part is that it seems that it is working.

Nothing wrong with Hernandez, I’ve grown to be a fan of his. I can’t figure out if he’s a socket, wrench or what, but Will Smith is most definitely a ginormous tool. He may even be the tool box. The leprechaun is garbage as well. None of the other players are really unlikeable. Buehler was sort of a tool but I enjoyed watching him pitch. The biggest ho on the team doesn’t even play baseball anymore. I want to slap people when they say “he’s a San Diegan!” No, we don’t claim that. She and Phil Mickelson can hold hands and chase headlights on the freeway

Oh, Blake Snell is a ho and a sellout and watching him hold back tears along with the rest of his teammates and fans was amazing

Come on guys... Get over it... Dodgers-5, Jays-1 in a gem by Yamamoto.... Back to back complete game wins... And Will Smith is clutch wit 1-HR, 3-RBIs. 1-R... Go Dodgers!

I never understood why they allowed foreign teams play in MLB. Dodgers all the way.

When I was in about the 5th grade, I learned how to write in three-d. The first thing I wrote was Dodgers. It hung in my room room for year. I thought it was the coolest picture.

I never understood why they call it the "World Series" if nobody in the world is participating, except the US (and Canadia obviously)

Good thing the Padres didn't want to pay him.

*couldn’t”… there, I fixed that for ya. Imagine pimping a fly ball to the warning track

my neighbors were wondering what was so funny. That’s a classic that won’t go away soon. Wish the Jays wouldn’t have gone to their defensive roster swaps so soon. At least it was the most likable guy to bring the dagger

Considering that the Padres have Manny "I Don't Hustle" Machado on the team, this statement is hilarious. I've never seen so many balls hit against the wall where the batter only gets to first.
I'm sure he's enjoying Cancun right now.

Couldn't? True. The Padres already had significant money committed to other great players and pitchers, making it difficult to add another large, long-term deal.
You could've also said that the death of owner Peter Seidler created an environment of financial uncertainty for the team,
which contributed to their decision to pull back on spending.
They could've, but that would've cut into the Padres bottom line. Profit over success, I guess.
Que sera, sera.
Meanwhile, it looks like the contract every other major league team laughed at is paying off:
