SD River Recent Reality

I must admit I was pretty blessed just the last few months at the SD River. Besides some clones, I have picked up a number of 4's, a 5.50lb, a 6.25lb and one bass just a few ounces under 7lbs. Lately, reality has set in and it has been tougher as I have picked up mostly small bass and a few other species in the mix. All part of bass fishing as soon it will be cooler and I will be soon out at the lake dropping blade baits, spoons, ice jigs, hover baits etc. in 40-55' of water. Anyway....just a quick post with a few random pics from some recent trips to the river. Nothing big, but always fun to be fishing.
One of the whoppers....
A bigger whooper of the dink class
A little better...
This guy saw my Senko, but may need some Visine for his eyes...ha ha
Hey buddy... I was fishing for bass
Oh...come on now! Geez!

Actually it was from a few trips and there were other tiny bass, but not worth the pics. That Crappie was caught on a flashy swimmer with a small keitech trailer. The only other one I caught at the river was about 40 years ago down in Mission Valley so it was a rare surprise....seeing that I don't try to fish for them.

Nice variety. I have got a few crappie from the SDR, but that one beats mine.
