Murray getting jiggy Sept. 4

When I went to Murray on Tuesday the lake was alive with busters everywhere. Yesterday it had calmed down considerably. I still managed a few topwater early, but it got hot.
I started focusing on shady pockets in the tules, and found some jig success that way. Surprisingly, I saw a couple of very large bass cruising in under 2 feet of water back on some coves (probably 8 pounds each). I thought they were supposed to hide from the sun and go deep in 95 degrees weather, but I guess no one told them that they were breaking the rules.
