Good to be back…Big Bay 8-31

Been months since I’ve hit the bay but brought 3 rods to an informal celebration of life this morning. Before spreading ashes we fished Square Mile and just like days of old, chucking plastics and other baits produced spotties and fond memories. Most came on a perch colored minnow pinned to a 3/16 oz ball jig. Caught another on a white/grey chatterbait tipped with a matching minnow. Would swear the kid put a spottie on Cynthia’s hook to keep her from getting skunked on his day
