Hello, Has anyone used portable bench style chais with the back? I’m taking a buddy from work bass fishing for his first time and I think this would make him more comfortable as he’s a little older. Any info is much appreciated.

I bring my stadium seat and it makes the day way more comfortable. I stand alot while fishing but my back aches at times in those tin cans. If handicap boat is available you can put folding chairs in there.

It’s been awhile since I’ve used the boat there. Does the bottom hook attachment for the stadium seat go under the boat seat okay? I can’t rennet if the boat seat has a gap for the hook to attach too.

I don’t believe there is a way to hook in one of those stadium seats on a Barrett boat. A month back or so I ran into a regular heading out in the afternoon as we were leaving. He had the stadium style/size seat but it had a rubber base on it that kept the seat from sliding or moving while sitting on it. He mentioned it occasionally goes on sale at Dicks or similar but I could not find anything online that looked like it has his rubberized base.

I’ve used them a few times and they’re way easier on your back than just sitting on the bench all day. They’re light, easy to move around, and fold up when you’re done. I’d say grab one, your buddy will probably thank you after a couple hours on the water.
