On it at 0-dark:30 and soon discovered just how much the water has dropped since mid July. Lots of structure and cover is up and dry with new submerged targets coming into play now being shallower. We had already decided to try a few new items and found yet another Pourboy recommendation is a winner with the Zman Mag Fatty fished T-rigged. Both his black n blue and the always catchy green pumpkin shade produced consistent fish. Danno got hot early on a Yamamoto double tail hula grub and I threw in some jig fish in the usual places too. Not our best numbers but we were done and gone by 11 with 39 total between us. Danno pegged a nice one just under 4lbs as the big fish. We saw breezers at times and got bumped throwing into them but no hookups and it didn’t seem worth the chase during our time. It wouldn’t surprise me they did go off eventually.

Thanks for the report. Changing up up baits has been the way to go.

Had a similar day...saw lots of busters in the weeds, but couldn't get any interest in a frog...most successful bait was th MM Roboworm...again, but was a good trip due to mixed awards between th 3 of us. One each: 1st fish (2ND CAST), biggest fish (4.1lbs), and most fish (15).
