7/19 The good the bad the ugly!

Got in line at 3:30. On the water in my tube before 5 and headed out. I had decided to main lake fish today and had planned out my spots. I caught only 1 at the launch, so I was kind of concerned. THE GOOD! Was at my first spot threw the Rat nothing, threw a small walking bait game on, lasted until the sun hit where I was at. Then tossed drop shot (short leader) and small jig. Was picking them up here and there. Then found the spot was there until 1. Had a bite almost every cast and landing a lot of them, loosing them too. With 3 over 4, biggest 4 3/4. 2 wiggled out of my hand after weighing. I'm going to have to use a gripper from now on.
THE BAD! A lot of them are skinny top and bottom. Throwing up senkos ( I have been avoiding using them) and barbed hooks in there mouths.
THE UGLY! Seen 6 floaters and 3 swimming looking in bad shape. Thinking there's more to come.
The guy in the tube in a pic was like you are getting them every cast. I offered him to cast on in, he never did. I did have bombers from others who were rude and didn't even ask.
