Wrapping up the morning at Mission Beach, arrived around 6:30 with pretty much the entire beach to myself. Caught a croaker early on (my first!), a walleye, and then around 8:30-8:45 pulled in 4-5 BSP in the span of 10–15 minutes.

Must’ve been getting bites after that rush because I was pulling in gutted sand crabs but I sure wasn’t feeling anything. Can’t really complain, though.

Nice weekend, four fishing sessions, and lots of fish to show for it. Feeling a little wobbly after all those hours standing in the surf

Thanks, Bill! It is (obviously) very obvious when something other than a perch takes the bait, haha. This one measured right at 18”. Didn’t put up too much of a fight, but I hooked it pretty close to shore. Made a last ditch run on me but a wave finished him off and he flopped onto the shore.
