Got a slightly later start than normal at Mission Beach today, closer to 7:30, but caught a BSP and a Walleye on my first two casts. I thought it was going to be a record day with that kind of start but I should’ve known that what it actually meant was that was all I was gonna catch for the next 2.5 hours! Sheesh.
Guess the fish just weren’t around, or maybe the timing was just off. Didn’t really even get many bites. Saw a couple other folks catching stuff, but nothing crazy.
Alas, always a nice way to start the weekend.
