Wind Blown Quickie 7-13

Got a quick session in before the wind came up. A seemingly slower day from perhaps a combination of a drop of at least a foot in the lake, some new green turbidity, and about a 91% full moon overnight. Anyway it only had flashes of the hot bite as opposed to the all out variety the last month or two. The green on green jig was the standout again but tried the reaper on my new BFS setup and besides casting great, it popped for my biggest fish (3.8) and a good percentage of my 29 by 9 when we fled for some Sunday plans.

Talked to Lori a bit about that fiasco. Early group got in, then somebody decided to shut that down. Then a few more like you snuck in but many got turned away unnecessarily according to the staff.
