Quanity or quality..easy choice

I was on the water by 5:30 and had a choice to make, go after the smaller schooling busters or sit on the rock piles hoping for bigger fish on the bottom! Easy choice, I just can't pass up a topwater frenzy! I ended up with 22 fish on top, mostly 2 to 3 1/2lbers, caught on various flukes and a handful of spoon fish thrown in! The bite lasted to almost 8:30, with the sun killing off the topwater action. I switched to throwing plastic on the rocks and points and added another 4 or 5 fish. It was fun sharing the frenzy with Fisheromen, but the number of fished we missed or that got off, was even more impressive. We need to work on that! Once again, Mr. Vinnybass missed out on the action...I think the full moon and him being a Vampire, had something to do with his no-show!

I talked to an employee of the Public Utilities dept, he said in about a week, they will started drafting water out of the lake and sending it down to San V....and then to Murray or Miramar for water treatment. So much for a stable water level!

Waiting for a kitchen sink to get delivered from Home Depot took me out of the action plus the vampire thing also contributed to
my no show. Glad you had a great time with
@Fisheromen nailing those topwater bass and comparing fish stories.
Yeah… bet that was a lot more fun than me pacing around the house all day looking out for that delivery truck. Thanks for sharing.
Tight lines always

The kitchen sink....that's what you normally throw at Murray! I guess you were getting low on them!
