Arrived by 6:30, never seen the tide so far out there! Not that I’ve been going for any truly significant amount of time but it was way out. Couldn’t even really find many crabs for a bit.
Took about an hour to get my first hit, but as the tide came in I got 5-6 perch, all fairly small.
First one was on a gulp sandworm but once I got that out of the way I switch to crabs. Guy next to me, maybe 75-100 yards away, looked to have caught something larger than a perch early on. Alas, as the crowds picked up and grass was all I was pulling in around 10:00, it was time to go.
Pic of one of the perch with big ol’ eyes, because why not.
