Happy pre Barrett day!!!!!!!

Looks like the fires in that area closed the road to the gate. Does anyone have anything from Ticketmaster about refunds?

Do you know this for sure? I tried to call San Diego Lakes, but they get voicemail and they probably won’t get back to me in time.

According to Cal Fire, both ways to get to the gate are closed.

I'm going to error on the side of caution and say we probably shouldn't plan to go tomorrow. Unless that fire is 100% contained, we become a liability to the people working the fire if it heads to the lake.

Good news they already down graded evacuation order to warnings!!!!!!! They should have this fire out before tomorrow hopefully

I logged back to let you know. Watch duty is a great app to let you know what's happening with the fires. But the issue at the lake is cellular coverage is kind of hit or miss.

I live pretty close by all entry ways to the gate. Ill take a drive this evening to let you all know the status of what I find.

I have tickets for Sunday. Fingers crossed the roads open. Will be checking in later tonight.

Per the latest CA Highway Patrol notice the following roads are closed:
- Lyons Valley Road and Honey Springs Road
- Lyons Valley Road
- Wisecarver Truck Trail and Skyline Truck Trail
- Lyons Valley Road and Lyons Creek Road

I just got off the phone with Ticketmaster and they stated that they have not received and event cancellation for the organizer (Lake Barrett) as of yet for Saturday or Sunday. Has anyone gotten an email confirmation that no entry will be allowed into the lake this weekend?

Both ways I went were closed this evening. Doesn't look like it'll be much longer before they open it though.

A street I lived on came less than 100 feet from burning down completely and only air tankers and fire crews saved us. They are amazing!
