NOC 07/01/25

Beach was shallow and flat with the falling tide..Found a nice hole with water coming in from both sides and a rip going out.. A nice trench running the length of it..Saw multiple corbina, so I tossed in a large pealed and crab….Shortly the line started heading north… It felt pretty heavy and was pulling some drag..Then the hooked pulled.. 1 cast curse… The fish were there until the hole emptied, then no more structure… So the one bite skunk for me today.. A fishing buddy dropped buy and shared the hole with me for a short while..He had caught 2 corbs down the beach, before got there.. So a skunk…

Also fished north this morning from 06:30 to 9 am
Caught 4 perch, 4 corbina all on crabs.
Caught 1 YFC on LC

Nice fishing… much better than me… I really wanted that corb… It felt pretty hefty…

A bummer Butch to lose one like that. You'll get one I'm sure.
P.S. I'm still looking to even see my first corbina this year let alone get one !
