Getting Jiggy at Barrett!

Another extra special Barrett day, especially on the jig! Pics of the main weapons below but it was almost impossible to get off the jig. Lots of doubles and steady action. All in Hauser today got 49 on the jig, 10 on the minnow mostly crisscrossing the arm but also dragging along banks, then two T rigged MM robo’s for good measure. Caught way too many skinny fish but probably a 2lb average with 3-7 being biggest. Light crowd…has the summer falloff started or have they priced themselves too high?! Danno did respectable numbers on similar lures but did get hot on a 4” black n blue senko. 86 in all and off the lake at noon.

Nicely done! We are all looking for the replacement of the BB. I think they went off Keto and went vegan.

Years back just as I was casting a crankbait one of those jurassic beasts flew by and…Hook Up!! Quite a task reeling her in then holding down long enough to extract said trebles, but got ‘er done.

Bought at BassPro/Cabela’s. Game changer. You have to reverse the directional at the head but that’s easy.

I truly like a black and blue, jig-n-pork combination; fishing rocky banks. It is quite a popular lure amongst the angler population. And anytime you are fortunate to catch forty-nine bass fishing a jig is truly a blessing.Congratulation gentlemen!

Headed back shortly. B&B is our alternate color mix out there. Might be on that today
