Mission Bay 6/27

Nice, calm evening on the water tonight! Bigger crowds as we get into the heart of summertime but still plenty of room to fish.
Reeled in four total perch between my daughter and I. One for me on with a sand crab on my new rod and reel (went with a Penn Squadron III and Spinfisher VI), three for my daughter on her Zebco 404 and gulp sand worm with line brittle enough to snap on its own if you pull the knot too tight.
Go figure.
Fun evening all around, hope to get out once more this weekend. Had lots of bites, pulling in lots of sand crabs with the roe bitten clean off.
