Had not planned to go fishing today so I ate breakfast and took care of just a few things around the house and then ended up in the garage. I always end up messing around with some fishing gear when I am in there and put some new braid on one of my reels. Suddenly I decided to take a late morning trip out to the SD River for a few hours which seemed like more fun and I could do more when I get back. I quickly loaded up some gear and a couple rods and headed out. The sun was already breaking through and just did my usual reaction baits and then started flippin'plastics. I really work hard trying to catch bass and the river can be very frustrating or a times very exciting. It seems that my last half a dozen trips, I have only managed a couple bass each trip...as I am not getting many bites. Well this morning the same thing happened as I only got 3 bites and landed 2 bass. One "very small "bass and the other was better, but still needs to start eating better to fatten up...ha ha. Anyway....it was fun to get away for a few hours and came home continued my chores.
I think catching 2 bass is the new limit for the river...:-)

That Bass has "All head no body". Sounds like a beer review. Thanks for sharing!
