Mission Beach 6/8

Went out first thing this morning with no luck whatsoever, but the water was clean, the sun was shining (in eastern San Diego, anyway), so I headed back out this evening.
Skunk avoided! One small perch, followed by a second, slightly larger perch. Had a third on the line but it broke free as it hit the shore.
Also shoutout to the two guys who gave me a giant sand crab on their way out! I hooked it up for my son, and something almost immediately took it and ran off with it. Maybe a world record corvina, but guess we’ll never know
