Heading out to run errands yesterday morning, I took one rod and a ziplock of a few assorted baits and thought I would stop by Santee Lakes for an hour or so since I would be out in that area. Heck, why not?
Somehow I changed my mind and just headed to the SD River to rough it(ha ha) and toss a few baits from shore. About an hour and 15 minutes went by and finally landed a tiny bass and headed on my way to run more errands.I wasn't going to post this, but figured many would get a good laugh out of it.
Especially Mc(I usually talk more than Vinny when fishing near him, but nobody would believe it so why admit it, since everyone knows Vinny talks a lot )Fish. :-)

(The “very rare” part was me fishing from shore)

Last time I saw you post about a rare shore outing, you stuck a 9ish pounder on a black Hud at Murray. No 9 pounder this time, but still got one=D

It was a nice reality check. I felt positive and really wanted to catch a few healthy bass from shore, but did not happen and just need to be thankful for anything I catch at all. :-)
