Memorial Day Mission Bay Halibut

My son and I have been skunking so bad but I bought a kayak and we went out for the first time and got lucky. He caught 2 spotties, 2 calico, 1 sand bass, 1 halibut, and a spotfin on gulp plastics. I only caught one keeper halibut on live sardines trolling but we had a blast.

Nice going!!! With the cost of skiff rentals not getting any cheaper, the 'yak will pay for itself pretty quickly.
