It's a party!

It's always a fun time when you've got Vinnybass and Fisheromen on the lake with you! DK was in my wheelhouse today! I mixed it up today throwing various plastics and picked up 31 fish, mostly the clone variety...but fun, fun, fun! Mr. Vinny always inspires me to throw different baits, since he is known for throwing dozens of baits in a trip. I missed some bites, lost a few on jumps, and farmed a freight train that didn't want to stop! I would of liked a few larger fish today, but I picked up some of those the last trip...so I'm happy with my numbers over quality today. it's a fun time of the year to be on the lakes!

I tried to help Vinny with bait selection today..but that's like telling Tony Gwynn what pitches to swing at!

Nice to read about you guys adventures on one of my favorite lakes. I sure miss that place, and those green fishies.

That brings back memories for me because I remember when you and a couple of the guys would always post things about lake Sutherland on the old Sdfish. It was always funny to see some of the competitiveness, even with small fish. And believe it or not it inspired me to see if I could catch some fish up there after I haven’t been fishing there for 23 years. I went up to the lake and it was really windy and I thought I don’t think I could fish in this type of wind but a local fisherman in a float tube told me to start throwing senkos close to the shore and I ended up with 8 bass and a 4 1/4 pounder. So thank you for helping inspire me to revisit the lake
again. I am so glad I did and wish I would have ran into you back then. I’m pretty sure you have lots of great memories of fishing there.

I should probably call it “Lago McFish” like
@JWall suggested because he has that lake wired.
