I’m looking for a reliable surf forecast app or website that is accurate to help plan my surf fishing trips. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know they can’t be 100% correct and you can’t really predict everything but something to help with the planning would be great. I used Epic and Surfline and it seems like the two of them can be completely opposite sometimes.

Any suggestions ?

The locations are easy to change . HD On Tap give access to live beach cams for quite a few local beaches that also can be helpful . WR

I typically use multiple websites to plan.

Wind: Windy app on my phone, or https://www.windy.com/

Surf: lots of sites for wave heights, I haven't found one I like yet

I'm the same way but for when I go out on the boat;

I use Windy to check for swell directions, intervals, and wind/gusts

HD on tap has a ton of different beach cameras which is great in case there is thick fog but also because you can see what the surf is like

There is also a lot of other research I do but that doesn't really pertain to surf fishing

The surf-forecast site mentioned by several others, I find useful as well. Problem with Surfline is unless you're subscribing to the premium paid version, the beach cams are not in real time. You are looking at the surf 24 hours the day before. Wave Cast Socal is useful as well although it's narrative is targeted for telling surfers the biggest/best surf & swell. When low surf is forecasted with minimal or no wind swell, that's when I try to hit the beach
