Just a few pics from a couple recent trips to Murray pretty much sum it up.
There are bass up near the top of the water and bass down near the bottom.
Most are clones, but hope you find your action on top or on the bottom!

On Top On Bottom On Top On Bottom Speaking of bottom. Watch your props boat
guys because the water level at Murray keeps
going up and down and it came down a bunch
as of today. That is the end of the boat ramp.

It’s funny as I have lots of Sammy’s and yet
that’s my lucky one. Or maybe it’s only lucky because that’s the one I always grab? Ha ha
It’s always exciting to catch topwater bass on
hard baits, but flukes seem to get more action lately in this early top water season.

Forgot to give a big shout out to Dannicus who is always great to see and chat with while I am at Murray.

You too Vinny! I rarely fish Fridays but my kid had testing sooo...
I caught a couple of topwater and crankbait fish early but mostly focused on the edges of the tules. All in the 2 pound range. I lost count but it was over a dozen or so. I'm looking forward to some bigger fish making themselves available haha!
