6 total bass today at Otay, and five of them were courtesy of this:

It's a Diawa 3" TD Minnow, and it has definitely become my #1 jerkbait for BFS fishing. It has great action and casts a country mile. Most fish hit a twitch twitch pause retrieve, while two hit it on a reel retrieve with random twitches.

My other bait on the day was a Texas rigged green pumpkin Trick Worm. No picture because I figure you know what that is haha. I rig it on a light wire 2/0 EWG hook. Because of the floating nature of the worm I like to add a tiny bullet weight unpegged. In this case it was a Nako 1/16 tungsten worm weight. Nako makes tungsten bullet weights all the way down to 1/23 just FYI.

That's it. I hope some of you found this helpful.

Cheers

I used to kill it on the bigger TD Minnow back when they first came out in the 90s. Always had to have the ones that had SP stamped on them. Never had good luck on the floating ones. Be carful, they are very fragile and I can't tell you have many I cracked by hitting them on rocks (then they would fill with water). I would use epoxy to mend them, after drilling a 1/32 hole in each side of the crack.

Man you own this section of the forum=D Need to get a BFS soon.
