I have 3 gravity reels, and I love them! That reel will cast 1/16 easily and 1/8 oz stuff a country mile. I suppose if I were a trout guy I'd have like 5lb.test PE braid, but being a bass guy I have 10 pound braid on 2 reels and 15lb one 2 others. 4 out of 5 of my combos are now finesse setups with only one rod (mostly for frogs) outside of BFS, and it's only a medium/fast lol. Like my reel/line, I haven’t completely gone down the BFS road with the paired rod either. I bought a Lews Laser Speed Stick medium action which gives me the desired whip to throw anything 1/16 of an ounce. I haven’t ventured into baitcasting anything lighter yet but can see going there at some point.
I am amazed how the shallow spool and magnetics work on my ARK and the setup has become a favorite for sure.
