Hey guys, I was the one that requested BFS be added as a forum topic. Thanks admins and thanks to @VinnyBass for facilitating the topic add! I figured this would be a great place to share our rigs/setups, gear, baits and techniques. I look forward to seeing what you all are using.

Dan, I had first hand experience watching you catch bass after bass after bass using your BFS gear. When you showed me the baits and equipment you use it was pretty amazing to me. Here I have everything thatโs heavy, extra heavy, or mag heavy but youโre living proof that you donโt need all that to catch plenty of bass and plenty of healthy ones too! Anyway, Tight lines always buddy

Absolutely. One of the earliest joys I learned about fishing was how to play a fish. Then as equipment changed, and tourney fishing became the standard that younger guys adopted true "fighting" kinda took a back seat to reeling them in fast, and boating them. Now it's more like the way I originally learned, and I am grateful for it.

Nice work on the BFS section. Thinking about the 80s, when I was a kid and longingly looked at the Shimano Bantam as if it was a work of art. Maybe it was. I had to make do with a couple Shakespeare 2499 spinning reels. I still have them and they still look brand new. I even store them in their original boxes.
