Pictured is the first of six total topwater bass today at Murray. None of them were big, but I am not complaining. Do you know why? Because TOPWATER, that's why!!

Bass were busting everywhere early in the morning. After that slowed down it got tough to get them on anything.

me too...too water technicality...hung a worm over a tree limb and this guy came all the way out of the water to get it! later this guy had his eye on me...

By the way, I passed Vinny @VinnyBass
on the way to Murray yesterday. He was in disguise, but I recognized him instantly for some reason. He said to tell you all hi!

It was fun even though I only landed 2 on topwater. You yelling at me 1st topwater of the year. I caught fish on jig minnow and dropshot I ended up with over 20 biggest just under 3lbs.
That sign is not a bad idea!

First topwater fish came a few days ago at the local pond.

Although, it was practically cheating as I threw the popper in the middle of a fry cloud and daddy was only doing his job.
