If you only got one..I'm convinced it's no bueno! A lot of lakes are dealing with some nasty algae blooms now! It's the price we may for having a wet winter, lots of nutrients washed into the lakes.

This time of year, I’ve never been skunked at Otay throwing the hudd. NEVER. Went on a sea trial yesterday there, brought the rods and fished all day. Not even a bump.

Hard to believe this is the same lake as Spring 2018. The jerkbait bite was the most wideopen I have ever seen. The only hotter SD bass fishing that I have seen better, was poaching Barrett in the 80s. No joke, the back of Harveys Arm, it was wide open like tuna fishing. Shad were spawning and we were almost getting bit every cast. Even the shore fisherman were whacking them.

And now it's contaminated.!!!!! No wonder I have felt like crap since my last trip!! I thought it was that I'm 75 and the weather sucks!! :0

Lol if you’re fishing “the outside edge” of the tullies, you’re wasting your time. You need to be fishing braid or 20lb flouro and getting your bait into spots you’re not certain you could land a fish if you were bit. Or, find the fish offshore that are chasing bait

I’ve caught a lot of fish on a-rigs. I’ve caught a lot of doubles on a-rigs. Otay is the only lake I’ve personally witnessed a triple hook up on an a-rig. I’m not saying, I’m just saying…
