3/21- Murray was Fun!

Well, lots of chores have been keeping me busy, but I was finally able to head out to do a little fishing this morning. I am sure glad
I did as it has been a while. I intended to work the tulles, but nixed that after picking up a few bass on reaction baits. It was great to see and chat with @Pwy_FireCapt who was out on the water and was basically putting on a bass fishing clinic pulling in several bass. It seemed every time I turned around, he had another hook up. Anyway, I started throwing an assortment of reaction baits and to keep it brief, the bass were cooperating. Even a random trout joined the action and thank goodness shook my hook near the surface which made me happy because I did not want to take a fish home.
To wrap it up... despite having some bass come unbuttoned, it was a heck of a lot of fun fishing Murray today as I was able to land 19 bass with a few healthy ones in the mix and topped by a 4.50lb'er.

Just a few pics....

Nope! Did not throw a single worm. If I threw small baits near the shore, I could have caught a lot of dinks.

@VinnyBass…That was a strange, but amazing, day to say the least. I wouldn’t say I was putting on a clinic. I got a lot of micro-bass. It wasn’t until I started following your lead that I started getting any size.
I even caught a couple on a spoon, which is a first for me!

Love the collage you posted!
Hey it was so nice to see you as it has been a while. I actually caught a bass on a jerk bait after a small one came off on the jump.
You really have mastered that bait. I switched baits so much and probably should have tossed jerk baits earlier.
Anyway, nice job and tight lines always. :-)

It was the "Luck of the Irish"....oh wait, St. Patrick's Day has already passed and besides…. I'm not Irish.
Actually, the bass were just in a biting mood.
