Decided to give the cap a try haven't been in a while. The water is lower and about foot visibility 56 in the am.
Went to a couple of spots no love so I new I had to start from scratch. I had caught a couple little guys throwing the everything. Then around noon, yes noon I started getting them. I did try most of my rods and ended up with BFS on drop shot. I landed 14 best 5 15.76. I had a battle with a biggun, it was big. Pulled up my motor and TM as it's doing laps around the boat, even fighting under the boat with it splashing on the side. After a long battle it was tired (me too) I got to anxious to put it the net and it came undone. Little BFS did it's job I blew it. Big mouth, bulging eyes swimming away.
Another story! I was in the back as far as you go back in a cove only one in this cove. This boat pulls in and sits right where I need to pull out when I'm moving on. I watched where they were casting and it was not in my direction. I pulled out about 25' as that was my plan to fish my way out. I know how many feet as my TM has jog and can tell it to go forward 25'. Now all of a sudden I'm getting bombed and they are starring at me (no words). I fished a little bit caught one and they were where I was going to fish, but I moved around them in about 2' of water. Now am I the bad guy ?

Agreed, some times you have to wonder about some fisher person’s com-an sense.

Sadly...all of us at one time or another have had to deal with guys being not so friendly on the water. Most guys I have run into
have been courteous, but then every once in a blue moon, you run into someone the opposite. Glad you had fun out there on
the lake catching bass, which is what is really important. Thanks for sharing and tight lines always.

Funny thing happened today as I was out getting some fishing supplies. One maybe both of the guys works at a store I went to and he was the guy who rang me up. I told him he looked formular and he just shook his head. Asked him if he was fishing Monday, he said yes why. I said I'm the guy you bombed in the back of the cove. He said He was just fishing. I said a few more things then told him to have a good day.

Not even fun to fish El Cap anymore because of this. I get cut off about 5 times a day. Go behind me FFS. Looks like you had a good day.
