question for those of you into 3d printing...

Post by Carpkiller »

I have an idea for a way to add a bill to one of the jigheads that I make. I would need some sort of plastic that's very transparent, and flexible enough to snap into place around the lure's body.

First question is, does anyone here have the capacity to make such a thing...material-wise?

And how big a chore would it be to make something based on some rough sketches (by me) and measurements of the jighead (by you)?

And by "how big a chore," I mean...what would it cost?

I have a budget of ....nothing. But I could swap you for a crapload of jigheads or soft plastic baits.

But of course, if it works really well, we could go start small on etsy, build an internet sales empire, go on shark tank and split the profits from the sale of our business...fifty-fifty.

So can anyone make a clear, slightly flexible gizmo with materials you have on hand?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Not so clear on what your trying to do but it
kind of sounds like a scrounger head, I’ve been going through some of my old tackle boxes and found 6 scrounger heads, I used them along time ago and had good luck with them so I’m going to try them this spring.
Thanks for posting you’ve always come up with great ideas, good luck with your vision.
