Fishing is still somewhat tough at Murray but it seems to be changing for the better.

Set out this afternoon to get some practice in with the cheater box and found some scattered schools at 30-40 feet.

Still getting the hang of the livescope but its already proved its value in the few trips I've taken.

Being able to see in real time how fish react to a certain bait or retrieve lets you know if something isn't working and to quickly change up without wasting time.

Either way if you managed to get a bait into the schools of bass out there today, they'd eat it.

Nice job out there!
How did you get that bait down that deep?
I know most of the bass are down pretty deep this time of year as most of the shad I have
metered are down deep also. I haven't fished Murray for a while but glad to see that the
bite may be picking up. Tired of dinks and micro bass I have caught there this year.
Tight lines. :-)

Sinking jerkbait similar to a rapala countdown.
