No intel on fish , I hunted quail in that vicinity years ago . If you look up lakeside Sportsmans Club ,
it is shown to on Google earth Pro . The members are able to pull trailers and fifth wheels into the site for camping . Probably not 4x4 . Jewel valley road is very deceptive in that you need to be careful not to enter private ranches .Some places it looks as if you are going right to someones door . A good MAP of the area will definitely help as there are lots of little cross roads and ranch roads in the mix .ADD /EDIT , there may be access along the sunrise power link maintenance road from Starship lane , built since I have been in the area . Note , there is not a lot of BLM or Nat Forest land in that area you need to look on the Plat maps very well , you don't want to be trespassing . One of the reasons I no longer frequent the area Hope this helps a little . WR

I rode with a group of dual sport riders out to that "lake", several years ago. It is actually a pond, and when we went, it was pretty low, not that it is very deep to begin with. It was winter, and about a third of it was iced over. I have heard people claim that they have caught bullheads, bluegill and small bass out of there. This is what it looked like, about ten years ago.

FYI....pretty easy to find the lake on Google Earth and the roads leading to it, but they have the last road to it fenced off.....bummer. Lots of BP there too. Fun day exploring that area.
