I arrived at the lake at 8:00 a.m. after dropping the kids off at school. Started fishing, and by 10:00 a.m. I started feeling like crap. Sore throat, fever, stuffy nose. Still I did manage one pretty decent fish on a jig. Been in bed ever since.

Here's to Hope and I feel better and get back on the water legitimately next week.

Tight lines all.

It's going around, all over. Had that nasty cold two weeks ago. Missed three days of work and a fishing date with a couple of friends. I did manage to sneak in a couple of hours before having to punch the time clock on the following Monday., though.

I remember the days being sick and still fishing and paying the price afterwards. Anyway, thanks for sharing and tight lines when you feel better.

Thanks all. About 48 hours of chills and fever but starting to feel better finally!

Prayers sent for a complete recovery by days end, and a truckload of bass on re-entry to the lake of choice! ;/)
