I like to go up there in the fall and chase topwater stripers but have missed it the last two years. Wondering if anyone else fishes up there and can help with timing.

If you are in a boat you might want to call them if they are allowing boats, I don't know if launch ramp 2 will be reopened

Sorry. Skinner has closed the launch to private boats last Friday, and it will not open until August 2025. The rangers did state that they will be renting their boat in the meantime. Ramp 2 is still open to kayak and canoe launching. The topwater bite was epic back in late July and throughout August.
