Hey all. First off, happy that this forum is here. Cudos to whoever started it.

First Barrett trip of the year tomorrow. Curious what time they've been opening the gate and what's the water clarity? Rigging up and pinching barbs today just want to be ready.

Hi,
I think it opens at 4AM. I was there at 430 and they were open and when I got to the water, people were already out on the water. Pack a warm outfit. On Sunday morning it was 36F. On the clarity question, it depends on where you are. When I was in the creek there were spots that were very clear. Out in Pine Arm, I'd guess 6 feet or so, maybe.
