Eastern Sierras September trip

Overdue post.
Took my boy, who has now outgrown me, on our annual Sierras trip. Instead of the usual Tuttle Creek/Mt. Whitney camp out, decided to head farther north to Big Pine and Lower Sageflat campground to be in the trees, and it did not disappoint. Weather could not have been more perfect. High 70’s during the day and mid 40’s to low 50’s at night. Caught so many fish we stopped counting and taking pictures. Just enjoyed the no cell service, clean air, giant pine trees, and the majestic mountains. Took a side quest to Lake Sabrina but didn’t fish it, due to not dressing for the 40* weather that high up! MRE’s and Peak freeze dried meals were the menu. Nice to reset the brain from all the chaos, although our neighbors had all their cookware stolen the first night we were there. Even all the way out there, there’s still 💩 people looking to victimize someone. IDK why some pics are sideways, maybe an admin can fix it because I can’t figure it out!

Nice going guys! Took our first trip to that region in the fall recently and it’s just amazing with the colors. Perfect temps and no bugs too.
