Fluke Bite at the Murr is Fire

Post by TATomlinson »

I may as well repost Vinny’s from last week. Started the day catching a couple on drop shot in the fog. As soon as the fog lifted, I switched to fluke and it was on. Unlike Vinny, I stayed near the tules. Ended with 14. I missed at least that many (didn’t have the right fluke hooks with me). Most were very small but I picked up a solid 2.5 pounder around 10:30. Called it a day with that one.

Wow, that sounds like a really fun time!!!
It’s amazing how those bass just attack those
Flukes and even the ones that you miss, it still makes it really exciting. The bass can probably corner the shad better going in and out of the tulles and here I keep staying out in the middle of the lake ha ha. Great job out there and thanks for sharing.
Tight lines always :-)
